As a wielder of basses and banjos, Toon settles every philosophical argument with a gentle nudge of his blunt object...Goes around The Ring Of Kerry with a rental car each year, just to trim the hedges....

Erik Is the band's box-player. After taking a long and winding journey around just about all the music of Europe, he finally halted within the Irish tradition. Starting out as a musician in the sessions in Oceallaighs Irish Music Bar in Groningen, he soon became a valuabale member of quite a few bands, one of them The Doggy Few. His numerous trips and tours of Ireland have helped him master the techniques that are so specific for Irish music. Playing aside, Erik is also webmaster of a website called www.folkaccordeon.nl, specifically targeted at promoting Irish music for piano accordeon. You can use this site to find out everything about traditional music, filmclips, soundbytes, free sheetmusic, information about tutoring and also Erik himsellf. Feel free to drop by....

His experiences as a busconductor on the 46A Dublin busses have greatly influenced his style of bodhran playing. Only stops talking to recite a poem or sing a mad song...'

By far one of the prettiest women in the band. Perfected her amazingly subtle bow-technique whilst working as a foreman in an all-female sawmill in a forest in Saskatschewan, Canada. This experience has also greatly helped her find her place as a Dogette....

Rumour has  it that Luke was born singing, or least  he could sing before he could walk... One of his many sisters decided to start dating a banjoplayer, and from that moment, age 12, he became addicted to Irish and  Scottish ballads and Americana. As a youngster he listened to all the greats like Dylan, Guthrie, Derrol Adams, and of course The Clancy Brothers, Ian Campbell and The Dubliners.  At the end of the 70's and in the early  eighties he worked in folkclubs and lived in Dublin. Here he "suffered" maximum exposure to the likes of Johnny & Paddy Keenan, Christy Moore, Planxty and many other great musiciians. It was a few years after this that he learned to make music with his guitar, thanks to the lessons by Robert Pfeiffer, the banjoplayer and guitarist of Amadan-fame.  The  Scotsman Roy Gulane helped him find his own way of backing the tunes...
